Newbury, NH – (July, 2011) – The Black Diamond package introduced for the 2010-2011 winter season made the Hearthstone Room one of the most popular places at Mount Sunapee Resort. Not only did groups enjoy their own private room, the Black Diamond package provided them VIP lift access to three of Mount Sunapee’s most popular lifts.
Located in the Spruce Lodge just steps from the slopes, the Hearthstone Room is available to groups of 20-35 people. Guests can relax in a wing back chair or on the sofa, put their feet up on the coffee table and warm up in front of a large fieldstone fireplace. There’s a TV and wifi if the group wants to combine work with play. There is also a changing room and bag storage. A hostess caters to the group’s needs throughout the day.
Packages include an all-day lift ticket, three different meal options and private use of the room for the day. Three packages: the Green Circle, Blue Square and Black Diamond, range in price for adults from $79 per person to $92 per person. Bar service, après-ski fare and other food options can be added to the basic packages. Rates are also available for young adults, juniors, non-skiers and season pass holders.
The popular Black Diamond package includes VIP lift access to the Sunapee Express quad, Sunbowl quad and North Peak triple chair. This package created such a demand for the Hearthstone Room during the 2010-2011 season that many groups re-booked another day or have already booked for the 2011-2012 season.
