Newbury, NH - (August, 2010) - Mount Sunapee was ranked with the best snow surfaces in the East for the fifth year in a row in the 2010 SKI Magazine Reader Survey, which will be published in the October, 2010 issue of the magazine.  Snow surfaces are the combined ranking of grooming and snow quality.

Mount Sunapee ranked #1 in the East for Grooming and #2 in the East for Snow Quality in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.  In 2006 Mount Sunapee ranked #2 in Grooming and #2 in Snow Quality.

Mount Sunapee received a total of ten "Top 10" rankings in the reader survey.  Mount Sunapee ranked #3 in the East for Family Programs and #3 for Accessibility.  The best snow in the East is easy to reach.  With views of Mount Washington to the northeast, Mount Monadnock to the south and trail views of the Vermont resorts from Killington all the way down to Mount Snow to the west, it's no wonder Mount Sunapee ranked #4 for Scenery.

Mount Sunapee received its best ever Overall Resort ranking in the East at #13.
