Mount Sunapee TGIF Race Series

TGIF Race League

Mount Sunapee Resort’s TGIF Race League is a six week race series, which includes the April Fool’s Race Finals & BBQ on April 4. Races are held on Fridays starting February 20, 2009. Races are either a dual slalom or giant slalom and are held on Mount Sunapee’s Eggbeater trail. Starting time for all races is 1:00 pm.

Registration Information

Race team registration is $400, which includes two runs per race per team member. Those racers who do not have a season pass may purchase an all-day, all-mountain lift ticket for $25 or a noon to 4:00 pm lift ticket for $12.

If you’re a non-team member you can still race. The cost is $10 per race (does not include lift ticket and only available on race days). You  can register to race and get your lift tickets at the Guest Services Desk in the Spruce Lodge.

Teams

Your team is made up of a maximum of five members and up to four alternates. Your team can be made up of all male or female members, or mixed. Five members will race and three count towards your team score. The registration fee covers all five team members to race each scheduled day. Additional team members who wish to race must pay the $10 race fee.

Official NASTAR team format scoring will be used for all races this year.

Apres-Race Party

A party will be held after each race at 3:45 pm in Goosefeathers Pub located upstairs in the Spruce Lodge. A race video will be shown
along with race results, prizes, finger food and cash bar.
