Mount Sunapee Cares & Shares Get Into the Holiday Spirit – Donate 3 Tons of Food!
Sunday, December 7 will be the first of two Cares & Shares days at Mount Sunapee this winter. Each skier and rider who brings five non-perishable food items to the ticket window can ski or ride all day for only $30. The food is donated to local families and food shelters. The second Cares & Shares day is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2009. Last year Mount Sunapee collected more than three tons of food on both days. Thank you.

Not only do guests purchasing tickets bring food items, many season pass holders and staff also get into the spirit of sharing. Food items are distributed to food shelves in local communities for the holidays.

Through programs like “Cares and Shares” and the Mount Sunapee Community Challenge Fund, which is generated by the Annual Snow Ball in February, Mount Sunapee Resort annually gives back over $50,000 to the community to support student education, environmental education, the arts and other charitable causes in the Lake Sunapee region.
