3/6/2010 Ultimate Groove Telemark Clinics
Ultimate Groove is a day-long camp for all ability levels and includes a lift ticket, all-day instruction, video analysis and a goody bag. Rental equipment available at Mount Sunapee.
3/6/2010 Winterwild.com Racing Series Finale
Winter Wild is a race up to the summit and back down. Grab your skis, snowshoes, favorite running shoes or whatever and join the fun! Awards by footwear category and ages. Extensive raffle. Starts at 7am. For more information go to winterwild.com or recreation@nl-nh.com
3/6/2010 Ross Powers Snowboard Camp
Olympic gold medalist and two time X-Games gold medalist Ross Powers brings his posse of pros and a roster of the nation's top instructors to Mount Sunapee for a one-day camp that will propel young riders to that next level. Benefits the Ross Powers Foundation.
3/7/2010 Clash of the Titans
Big Air competition in the Six O Three. Registration 9am-11am. $20 entry fee. No age groups.
3/13/2010 NEHSA Corporate Ski Challenge
Teams compete for the Corporate Challenge Cup as a fundraiser for the New England Handicapped Sports Association. Visit nehsa.org
3/14/2010 Grom-a-Thon
The Grom-A-Thon series continues in the Six O' Three terrain park for young skiers and riders. The event centers around one small or medium feature. Emphasis is on fun. Entry fee is $5 and everyone entered will receive a goodie bag.
3/17/2010 St. Patrick's Day
Look for shamrocks hidden on the mountain and win prizes. Join us at Goosefeathers Pub for Irish fare.
3/20/2010 4th Annual Dummy Big Air Contest Sponsored by Harpoon Brewery
Homemade dummy skiers and snowboarders are shot down the runway and launched off a huge jump. Great spectator event. Prizes awarded for best designed dummies, biggest air and best crash. Sponsored by Harpoon Brewery.
3/20/2010 McCrillis Award Dinner
John W. McCrillis of Newport, NH was an early skiing pioneer. The McCrillis Award is given annually to a local community member who has contributed to the sport of skiing. We hope you can join us for this festive evening.
3/21/2010 Grom-a-Thon
The Grom-A-Thon series continues in the Six O' Three terrain park for young skiers and riders. The event centers around one small or medium feature. Emphasis is on fun. Entry fee is $5 and everyone entered will receive a goodie bag.
3/21/2010 Mueller Cup Mogul Thing Race
A fun, open event for all ages. It is a dual format, meaning that 2 skiers ski head to head down a course on the Flying Goose, with the skier having the better run continuing on to another round, until there is only one skier left in the men’s and women’s divisions. Those survivors are crowned the mogul king and queen. Registration is from 8am - 9:15; practice 9:00- 10:15; event starts at 10:30.
3/27/2010 22nd Annual Chip Gilroy T-Shirt Race & Fundraiser
One of the biggest alpine races of the year in New Hampshire for JIII, JIV, JV & JVI racers. Along with the race is the Chip Gilroy Fund which supports research, prevention, treatment and cure of childhood cancer at Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Sponsorships are available.
